里山のアールブリュット

田園地帯に広がる地域に計画された、カフェとコミュニティスペース。ここで目指したのは、特別な目的がなくても立ち寄ることができ、子どもからお年寄りまで、誰もが自然に集まり、時間を過ごせる場所です。

計画の初期段階から地域の子どもたちとのワークショップを行い、彼らの言葉や発想、身体的な行動を設計のアイデアとして取り入れました。大人が決めた「使い方」に人を当てはめるのではなく、子どもたちが走る、座る、覗く、集まる、つくるといった自由な行為から空間のあり方を考える。効率や生産性を優先するのではなく、そこにいる人同士の偶然の出会いや会話、何気ない行動が生まれること。自然の中で人が集まり地域の人々が互いの存在を感じながら、それぞれの時間を過ごせること。この場所がカフェとしてだけではなく、子どもたちの遊び場となり、お年寄りの居場所となり、地域の人々が出会うきっかけとなることを目指しています。完成した建築だけではなく、そこで生まれる活動や人々の関係そのものが、この場所をつくっていく。

里山の中に、誰もが自由に創造できる小さな余白をつくる。それが、このプロジェクトで考えた「アールブリュット」です。

The Art Brut in the Rice Paddy

This project is a café and community space planned in a rural area. The client's vision aims to create a place easily accessible to children, the elderly, and the entire local community. To achieve this, ideas from workshops with children are being incorporated.

The focus is not on efficiency or productivity, but rather on creating a space that stimulates primitive physical actions and interactions. As an architect, the emphasis lies in harmonizing with nature and deepening connections with the local community. The goal is to develop a café that serves as a place where people can gather freely, interact, and enjoy creative activities.
